Instagram Inventor and Brief History Complete

Instagram Discoverer and short history complete
Who is the inventor of Instagram?

Kevin Systrom is a computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur. He and Mike Krieger are the founders of Instagram, a photo-sharing app that allows users to take photos, apply digital filters, and share them with various social networking services.

He grew up in a small town called Holliston in HMassacahusetts, USA. After graduating from high school, he attended Stanford University majoring in Management Science and Engineering and graduated in 2006. At the time at Stanford, Systrom once worked part-time at the startup company, called Odeo. On the other day Odeo is growing and is known as microblogging service provider, Twitter.

Graduating from Stanford, he briefly worked at Google as a product marketing manager. It works on products like Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, and Spreadsheets. Shortly thereafter he left Google to join Nextstop, a startup founded by several former Google employees. While its work focuses on marketing, it's not uncommon to help create ideas in the form of programming. After working on Twitter and Google and several other startups, he started building his own company that created an app called Burbn.

Initially they built the BURBN to a Web mobile app that lets people check in locations, make plans, earn points to hang out with friends, etc. However, when they wanted to overhaul the BURBN, they saw that Facebook created a check-in app like Foursquare. Finally in order not to clash with the Facebook service, they created Instagram. A month after launch, Instagram was able to embrace 1 million users.

A year later, Instagram reached more than 10 million users. And in 2012, Instagram successfully captivated its competitor Facebook. Instagram finally agreed to accept an acquisition offer from Facebook with a value of USD1 billion. The biggest purchase in Facebook history.

What is Insagram?

Instagram is a photo-sharing app that allows users to take photos, apply digital filters, and share them with various social networking services, including Instagram's own.

One unique feature on Instagram is cropping photos into square shapes, making it look like the results of the Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid cameras. This is different from the 4:3 aspect ratio commonly used by the camera on mobile equipment.

Michel  "Mike" Krieger (born March 4, 1986) is a Brazilian businessman and software engineer, probably best known as the co-founder of Instagram, with Kevin Systrom. Born in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, Krieger moved to California in 2004 to attend Stanford University. At Stanford, where he learned the symbol system, he met Kevin Systrom. Both set up Instagram in 2010.

Instagram can be used on any version of iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with the operating system iOS 3.1.2 or later and any Android phone camera with the operating system 2.2 (Froyo) or later. The app is scattered through the Apple App Store and Google Play. On 9 April 2012, it was announced that Facebook agreed to take over Instagram for a value of about $1 billion.

BURBN, Inc.

Established in 2010 the company BURBN, Inc., is a startup technology that focuses solely on the development of mobile phone applications. At the beginning, Burbn, Inc. Had too much focus on HTML5 mobile, but both the CEO, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, decided to focus on one thing only. After a week they tried to make a good idea, in the end they made a first version of the BURBN, but in it there were still some things that weren't perfect yet.

The final version of BURBN, an application that can already be used in the iPhone, which contains too much features. It's hard for Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger to cut back on existing features, and start over, but eventually they only focus on the parts of the photo, the comments, and the ability to like a photograph. That's what ended up being Instagram.

Initial creation of Instagram name

The Instagram name comes from a sense of the overall functionality of this app. The word "Insta" comes from the word "instant", such as a Polaroid camera that at the time is better known as "instant Photo". Instagram can also display photos instantly, such as Polaroid in its appearance. As for the word "gram" comes from the word "Telegram", where the way telegram works alone is to send information to others quickly.

Similarly, Instagram can upload photos using the Internet network, so the information you want to communicate can be received quickly. That's why Instagram comes from an instant-telegram. On 9 April 2012, it was announced that Instagram would be taken over by Facebook for nearly $1 billion in cash and stocks.
